Our language school ADK stands for experience in German language courses, founded 1963 ADK is by now one of the leading private language schools.We greet our students with interest, respect, friendliness and patience. We take time for you and your requests! Our courses at a glance:
You can join one of our ongoing group courses at any time if you have the requisite skills. You don't have to wait for a specific date to start learning.
- Beginners' courses start every month.
- Group courses / Intensive courses (25 lessons of tuition) Monday to Friday 8:45 to 12:45. Throughout the year; all levels; any amount of weeks; starting every Monday for participants with knowledge of German. Registration any time. Please schedule an appointment with us, we will gladly evaluate your skills and provide you with extensive information. Free trial lesson; when your skills have been evaluated, you can try out a suitable group in a free lesson and see whether it's the right group for you.
- Private tuition: Effective learning with language training exclusively in the target language by university-qualified native speakers. Flexible schedule: book your lessons as your calendar allows. We can, of course, change your schedule for you at short notice. Objectives are tailored according to your existing skills, strengths and weaknesses, and to the specific content you require
- Intensive PLUS course: 25 lessons of group tuition plus 5 or 10 lessons of private tuition
Our 8 level course model enables us to find the right course for the individual levels of each of our students.We are open all year, language courses for all levels from A1 to C1. Beginner courses start every month. Courses for students with previous knowledge start every Monday after a placement test. And not to forget: German is the only language in class - learn German fast and effectively in a friendly relaxed atmosphere with experieneced teachers. Up-to-Date teaching material, regular tests. Courses leading to certificates in German as a foreign language: TestDaF , ZD, B1, DTZ, DSH

The language school

Our school is located in the heart of Bavaria, Augsburg city centre. 8 classrooms on 3 areas, 2 cafeterias, WLAN internet connection. Augsburg is not far from Munich and the Alps, the oldest city in Germany - why not use Augsburg as a starting point for excursions? Our Team
Experienced team of teachers, exclusively native speakers with University degrees. Qualified and dedicated school leadership. Indivdual care and counsel: we will gladly offer help with questions and problems. We greet our students with interest, friendliness and patience! Since 1995 under the professional leadership of the owner Bernd Weichlein (Germanistik M.A. Universität Augsburg) and Sabine Steinacher (Germanistik M.A. Universität Augsburg).
This is our students card, all ADK students can get this at our office...of course with their own picture! It allows cheap entrance at cinemas, theaters, swimming pools etc.
A short history of ADK Augsburger Deutschkurse
- 1963 founded through Dr. Weindorf, location Pfersee. German courses for adults and International summer courses for teenagers.
- 1989 company take-over Familie Husel, relocation to "Schloss Pfersee"
- since 1995 school leader Bernhard Weichlein (M.A. Universität Augsburg), and Sabine Steinacher (M.A. Universität Augsburg). Relocation to city centre. Expansion of activities ( german for professional needs, Intensive Plus, Exam preparation DSH)
- 2001 Cooperation partner in QUIF, EQUAL-Project, throughout the EU with the Chanber of crafts.
- 2004 - place 4th, price holder of ther European seal "Europäisches Sprachensiegel", in cooperation with "Tür an Tür - miteinander wohnen und leben e.V."
- Since 2005 – accredited by the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF) as an integration course provider
- 2008: pilot project IsbQ Integration through language and vocational training. Developping of innovative teaching material (interactive, movies, DVD) German for professional needs
- 2008: certified quality: audited through CertIT
- 2009 Cooperation partmenr in the program ESF-Bamf-courses (German for professional needs)
